The University of Balochistan (UoB), Quetta, established in 1970, is the oldest and largest public-sector university in Balochistan. The University of Balochistan offers HEC Need-Based Scholarships, Merit Scholarships, Balochistan Educational Endowment Fund Scholarships, Minority Scholarships, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Assistance, Financial Aid Programs, and various donor-funded scholarship schemes. Deserving students can apply through the university's financial aid office. Fee concessions and installment facilities are also available for eligible students.
Applicants must have completed Intermediate, FSc, ICS, A-Level, DAE, or equivalent qualifications from recognized boards. Computing programs require Mathematics at Intermediate level. Pharmacy, DPT, Biotechnology, and Biological Sciences require FSc Pre-Medical. Law admissions require LAT according to HEC and Pakistan Bar Council regulations. Admissions are granted on merit based on academic performance and departmental criteria.
