DUHS offers Merit Scholarships, HEC Need-Based Scholarships, Sindh Educational Endowment Fund Scholarships, Financial Aid Programs, Minority Scholarships, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal assistance, and various donor-funded scholarship schemes. Financial assistance is available for deserving students through the Student Financial Aid Office. The university also facilitates students in applying for national and international scholarship opportunities.
Candidates must have completed Intermediate (Pre-Medical), A-Level, or equivalent qualifications from recognized boards. Most health sciences programs require FSc Pre-Medical. Nursing programs require FSc Pre-Medical with at least 50% marks. Business and Healthcare Management programs require 12 years of education and university admission tests. Admissions are granted through university entry tests, interviews, and merit calculations according to program requirements.
